Ruth McClung Vs. Raul Grijalva : John McCain Cowboys Up

Huffington Huffs And Puffs

While Senator John McCain may have political baggage, he's done the right thing in the Arizona CD7 race between Ruth McClung and Raul Grijalva. True, it didn't happen until Sarah Palin endorsed McClung, but from there on in, things got busy in a hurry. McCain has now jumped in on McClung's side...big time.

There are TV ads running now that demonstrate John's commitment to seeing Ruth McClung elected--or at least to seeing Raul Grijalva defeated. But what first brought this enthusiasm on his part to my attention were several pro-McClung mailers that hit our mailbox. In each of those, mention is made of "John McCain--Ruth McClung Headquarters".

Cool.

Naturally, The Huffington Post doesn't think it's cool at all. An October 25 Huff Post headline screams in outrage,

McCain Waging Grudge Match Against Raul Grijalva; Challenger's Offensive Poster Mocks Dem's Mustache

The article goes on to strongly suggest that whatever John McCain is doing to influence the CD7 race is both personal and illegal--naturally. Which means Arianna Huffington is highly upset to see Grijalva being deported from Congress with the help of the senior Senator from Arizona...and anything that upsets Arianna Huffington has got to be a good thing.

On the flip side, Sam Stone--formerly Brian Miller's campaign manager but now working with the McClung campaign--told the Post that Ruth is paying her half of the office rent. I know Sam, and Sam knows what he's doing. So does John McCain. The McCain-McClung collaboration may be giving apoplexy to loads of liberals, but it's not likely to have gone over the legal line.

Oh, that "offensive poster"? You wanna see it? Well, then, here ya go!

Perspective

Whether that facial hair exaggeration ought to be offensive or not...well, that's kind of hard to tell when you can't stop laughing long enough to hit the right keys on the keyboard!  I'm trying.  Really.

Not really trying all that hard, though....

But, come on now.  The exaggerated moustache image is nothing compared with Harry Reid calling Chris Coons his "pet".  Y'all Democraps do lots more damage to your own people's images than our side could ever do!

Seven More Days

November 2 is almost here. Raul Grijalva, the polls tolls for thee--or something like that. You should never have underestimated a rock climbing rocket scientist. You should never have underestimated the will or the intelligence of the very consituents you boycotted. Most of all, you should never have underestimated a woman, any woman, regardless of age or race. I should know, what with six divorces under my belt and a redheaded seventh wife making sure I stay in line.

But you did. You pushed Progressive policies till the cows came home. Yet come home they did, and pretty soon, in just seven days, your entire flock of toxic chickens is coming home to roost as well.

Metaphors enough for ya?

McClung 2010 and Remember in November.

Ruth McClung for Congress.
Ruth McClung for Congress.

The Moustache

Bonus Update 10/27/10: Readers have shown a lot of interest in the comically exaggerated Grijalva moustache...which reminds me. Don't y'all see a possible connection between radical Raul "Boycott" Grijalva (who in his early days was openly in favor of creating Aztlan, a country that would be made up of territory torn from parts of both Mexico and the USA) and the Mexican revolutionary, General Emiliano Zapata?

Seems like Raul's soup strainer is nothing but Emiliano's face hair...only grown a bit older and droopier to match its current owner...eh?

General Emiliano Zapata in his heyday, long before being gunned down at age 39.

I am just waiting until after the election when all these lousy Dem's scream foul and use Tax payer money to take their losses to the courts in hopes of a recount. I doubt very seriously this election will be over with on November 3rd, unless they cheat their way into another victory. Get ready folks it's going to be a rough ride...

Awesome Hub, voted UP

Another great hub by Ghost32. Nov 2 should be a very exciting day. Like rachell said, I wonder how many of them will be screaming foul on Nov 3rd. The fact that they will lose in spite of all the cheating they do will really hurt. Good riddance is all I can say.

Thanks for the UP-vote!

Definitely--it's absolutely not over till it's over. And then when it is (or possibly even before that), Phase 2 kicks in...namely, going Lame Duck hunting, see how much we can mitigate the damage the Defeated Ones will be trying to cause on their way out of office.

Nice to know we're needed, though--I think! :)

Ya had to go and make me laugh til I hurt worse than I do already...LOL (starting to feel much better tho) This was a great hub, I am wondering what is living in that mustache?? Has anyone looked into that one?? The McCain/McClung union is a good one for sure. Seven days to go!

And knowing that the "recounting" may start once again is just total nonsense in my opinion, though it is a possibility....talk about poor sportsmanship....those people know how to play games well enough, but they are seriously poor losers lol Great hub...truly funny pic!! lol

Great hub and great news! I've noticed my fingers type faster when I'm happy. Maybe by this time next week I will be a veritable typing wiz! I'll keep hoping!

And ya know, WMH wonders what's in the mustache? Didn't you hear recently that Bill Clinton lost the codes that authorize military installations to authenticate him (or whatever that thing did?)? Maybe it has been hiding in Grijalva's mustache all this time?

UP and Awesome!

I'm not certain what might be hiding and/or living in the moustache, the options being virtually enless...but I do have a clue where he might have gotten the thing in the first place. Hint: Check out the "bonus update" that's now been added below Ruth McClung's photo...:)

Did you say Grijalva was a relative? When I first looked at the pic, I thought it was Pancho Villa........lol Getting closer....pretty soon, the lines will start to grow outside the voting boxes. The tension is mounting and the excitement building....

Yeah, I thought of Pancho Villa, but Zapata's name kept bouncing around inside my head, so, one Google Images later...:)

Thanks for reporting on the mounting and building. I'm too buys typing to notice, so it's good to have you out there watching that stuff!!
