Overwhelm Overlord Obama : The Saga of 0001

62

By Ghost32

Deep in the mists of the Twilight Zone, they raised the Anointed One

Overwhelm Overlord Obama, tagged as zero-zero-zero-one

Tripple-ought-one was a marvel, designed quite specifically

To overwhelm every bit of opposition to organizing socialistically

"Overwhelm Overlord Obama", known in the field to all the crew

As 0001 who had a license to talk until the rest of us turned blue

They routed OOO right through Chicago, (or 000 if you prefer)

Gave him all the latest teleprompters to give us all the overloaded word

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

America sucked right into his blather, though many of us could see

Kool-Aid passed out by the tanker load for an election guarantee

2008 was the awful year to which I have referred

Hope and Change out on the range means death to the whole danged herd

We went to sleep, became dull sheep (I speak for the somnolent masses)

While we clear-eyed conservatives were handed our collective a**es

Yep, we'd been had; old Barack-lad rammed through Obamacare

Chicago-style dirty politics further polluted that Washington air

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's one good thing about the sting; it's impossible to get bored

When the card of race and class warfare are played by the Overlord

He's jetted off to Hawaii (where he claims that he was born)

Never mind the Libya action; he treated that with scorn

The lamestream media loves to say that to serve this still-great nation

Overwhelm Overlord Obama needs his eleventy-seventh vacation

While here in Arizona, though I'm supposedly retired

I recall the last day yours truly had off was the day that I got fired.

Has it occurred to you, dear reader, that the reason you can't relax

Is the Overlord spending your dollars instead of you keeping that freaking tax?

Now he slowed a bit with blaming Bush, so he's blaming us instead

Apparently you and I are the reason the federal ink is running red

Now me, I'm wearing last decade's jeans with the belt loops worn and frayed

Sent my money to pay for Michelle to complain about the balance of what I ate

Let me tell you, Mrs. Overlord, don't gripe 'bout my Ramen and beans

When you all the time are jetting off to make the jillionaire jet set scenes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll bet you're figuring the folks will still vote your "Four More" quota

You'll be surprised when the word comes out about what happened in North Dakota

Where sure as heck in 2010, Obama tried hard to shut down

The oil boom in the Bakken formation, sneaking and peeking around

But the light of day is coming your way; by Election Day in the fall

Better start learning to quack real loud, that Lame Duck Daffy call

You and your lapdog media pets want to avoid the actual issues

And focus instead on the side show stuff--too bad; get out your tissues

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Cause the voters this year are wider awake than even in 2010

You sucked 'em in in 2008, but that ain't gonna happen again

You can try to run against Congress; you can lie in your ads of attack

But We the People don't ever stay down; we always come roaring back

You had your chance in 2010 when we shellacked you at the polls

But you couldn't reroute your ideology; that's the way the Progressive rolls

So mark my words; right here you heard the word from the mouth of Ghost

Election Day in November will be an Overwhelm Overload Obama roast!

Remember in November!

RAH, RAH!!! Tell'em like it is. Dump Obama's lying bu** in the ditch. Good hub, liked the poem.

MikeSyrSutton: Thanks! Glad it's working for ya! (A takeoff on Sarah Palin's question, "How's that Hope and Change workin' out for ya?!)

Becky: LOL! Your comment triggered a whole BUNCH of responses I don't dare print...right on!

I wonder how long before someone comes in and posts the ultimate insult that the Obamaniacs can offer...

"You must watch Fox News....:-)"

Becky Katz profile image

I don't watch Fox news. I just think Obama is an idiot who is trying to ruin my country.

Heh! I do watch Fox News and sometimes even identify myself in advance as one of those right wingnut tinfoil-hat wearing looney tunes idjits they've heard about. Ruins their day when you wear their "insults" as a badge of honor.

But we didn't get Fox News in 2008, and my wife & I sill identified Obama as trouble with a capital T the first moment we ever saw him strutting across the stage on TV. A snake oil salesman, running for President. What'll they think of next.

There's a thundering, standing ovation for you here and lighters waving! I loved the poem and the message even more. November will be the deciding battle for the future of freedom. Rock the vote.

Here's the intro Fred. Some of this we are witnessing make The Twilight Zone pale by comparison. What is even more shocking is there are those that walk among us that are stupid enough to listen to empty rhetoric without substance. Oh the words are there but the deeds are opposite of the teleprompter spiel.

good poem, the subject is arguable. I do not know how you can all say Obama is "trying" to ruin the country. What would be his motive? The economy is back on the right track, the war in Iraq is done. A word to the wise, Overlord Obama is worth about 4.5 million dollars, Romney is worth about $250 million which he made as a venture capitalist, preying on struggling companies, with no real risk to himself. Also, listen to the BBC sometime, the entire world is terrified that Gingrich will have access to nuclear arms and the United States Military. This is the same guy that said we should pay minority children to work in our schools. To all you republicans who want Obama out more than anything, I would look at your options, you might just wanna wait.

Actually I think Obama may have fulfilled a lot of promises. He said we wouldn't be able to drive big cars. There is a couple of other reasons I didn't vote for him. would be sky high. Oh, yes. He was going to redistribute income, which he has from our pockets to that of his friends.

Alexander - Let me see. I can give you about 6 trillion reasons and counting in a little over 3 years. Need I say more?

I am amazed at those who comment on various hubs about the great job Obama is doing running this country. In business and in government, results are what count and most of this administrations results have been negative. More class warfare and hate the rich sentiment than I have ever seen. For many today, buying a lottery ticket every week is the only effort they put into attaining wealth. Little do they realize if they did win the lottery they would be instant members of the most hated group in America. But perhaps their thinking would change a little if they found themselves in this class.

Great hub as usual Fred.

poetvix: Thanks.

Alexander: My wife and I wanted Obama out from the beginning, long before he was elected in 2008. Those who "don't get" what's wrong with his policies as President must be related to those who "don't get" why Harley riders ride Harleys. That is, if we have to explain, you're never going to get it regardless.

Aside from that, though, Frog Prince sums it up rather well.

Frog: Thanks for the Twilight Zone intro, Jim, AND for the one-liner rebuttal to Alexander's comment.

Back to Alexander: Obama's motive is simple: He detests the "exceptional" America and has from the beginning wanted to "fundamentally transform" us to "just another (*yawn*) place on the planet. His credo (as judged by his actions) has to be very close to Rev. Jeremiah Wright's "God damn America!"

Don: Yep. Hope and Change, translated as, "I hope I, Barack, can change this country beyond hope of restoration before the people wise up!"

Close, Mister President, but no cigar.

Mike: Thanks. I, too, am amazed at those who love the job Obama is doing. Perhaps they speak a different language than the rest of us. Certainly they're not math majors or students of history.

I agree Obama needs to get out of office before he wrecks the country even more with his crazy schemes... they undermine the ecomony and the health and welfare of the american people...yes I believe he is associated with more than a few of the thugs he has been accused of knowing. WE THE PEOPLE need to vote him out

The truth is much easier to take in poem form. It helps keep me from tearing my hair out!

Ghost32 profile image

Ghost32 Hub Author 4 months ago

marywanders: There's no doubt of his "thug associations"...except among those who are blind because they will not see.

BPop: That's good to know, and please do keep on encouraging me on these--Pam has warned me never to "perform" any of this stuff in public for (her) fear of major embarrassment!

So I guess if I get on my soapbox in Sierra Vista or Bisbee, I'd best do it on a day when she stays home...LOL!

Awww, c'mon....didn't you watch the State of the Union address? Didn't he just tell us all AGAIN how he's going to fix everything? Voted up, dude!

Ghost32 profile image

Ghost32 Hub Author 3 months ago

Yep, he told us, all right--now, if only those nasty Republicans and that worthless Congress and those two-bit states and We the lazy and arrogant People would just get out of his awesome way and let him do his job.

With our tax dollars and no right to any input, of course.

Thanks for the Vote up!

Becky Katz profile image

Becky Katz Level 8 Commenter 3 months ago

Wait, that sounds like taxation without representation. Didn't we fight a war because of that? hat would be against our Constitution. Oh wait, we're talking about our President. He thinks the Constitution is outdated and in his way. OK, Kick him out of office and my wonderful country that he dislikes so much.

Yeah, we're working on that--the out of office part, anyway.
