68 years old, webmaster for a poetic humor site for a couple of years.  Many other careers from truck driving to sales to underground mining, social work, and even pro rodeo. Married to a disabled but feisty redhead, Pam. 2 cats, 1 gecko, and plenty of work to do for the future...including doing what I can to help Obama fulfill his potential as the worst one term President in our nation's history.

Update 5/2/09:  Just last month, my wife and I (plus the critters) bailed out of Colorado on the ebb tide of the drilling-boom-gone-bust.  (My trucking job done went and got Obamafied.)  We've now settled on several acres of bare land in southeastern Arizona, quite close to the Mexican border fence.  Plenty of available material for another 100 or 200 Hubs, but no time to write just yet (still scrambling in survival mode)...UPDATE!  After spending late April and all of May plus part of June '09 finding out nobody wants to hire this old goat, have turned to  writing on HP full time.   

Oh, we're all in trouble now. 

Let's see, there's the tale of Pam driving nearly 300 miles until we could locate a trailer for the Subaru and doing it after having had a mini-stroke...or the purchase of a semi trailer for storage that turned out to be a scam and then turned out to NOT be a scam...or....:D

Not to mention an eleven year old full length science fiction novel manuscript that needs to see the light of day....

Update 11/17/2010:  No longer bare land--now living in a "border fort" built with (!) my 2 bare hands.  Pam's still feisty...and at age 59 survived a hardcore Nov. 7 street fight after a very foolish woman sucker punched her son.    Never boring!   More than 400 new hubs (many political) published in the past 18 months.  Moving right along....
